Elise Wells is a Media Production student at the University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music concentrating her work in Film and Television Production. Alongside her major, she is completing a Marketing minor through the Carl H. Lindner College of Business and earning a Screenwriting certificate from the College of Arts and Sciences. By combing creative expertise with strategic communication skills, she has expanded her knowledge with storytelling through various forms of media. She is set to graduate in May 2025.
Elise is currently immersed in her senior capstone project, a short sci-fi mystery drama narrative film with elements of time travel. Serving as both writer and director, she is bringing her creative vision by collaborating with a talented production team consisting of film students with a wide range of skills and expertise. This film has been in development since August of 2024, the goal is to have the film screened in April 2025. This film highlights her dedication and ambition storytelling and ability to mange complex productions.
Currently, Elise works as a Multimedia and Communications Intern for Avondale Development Corporation. In this role, she assisted directed the second Avondale Film camp and the first Avondale Film Festival in 2024, gaining hands-on experience in event coordination and community engagement. She also produces, films, and edits short-form videos highlighting community events for social media to connect with local audiences.
Elise's interests include film directing, screenwriting, video editing. Her experience spans from short narrative films, documentaries, live performances, and social media marketing. She enjoys collaboration on projects in film, marching arts and equine media.
Based in Cincinnati, OH, Elise has contributed to a variety of creative projects. She is eager to pursue a full-time opportunity in production after graduation.
